Contemporary Music
Throughout my time at Huddersfield University, I really explored the world of contemporary music. As Huddersfield is one of the world-leading locations for contemporary music, I learnt a lot in this field, which opened me up to composing in other genres. See my work below!
Cave Crevices (2019)
This was one of three contemporary compositions I did as an assignment for University in my first year. The recording is in fact an improvisation, based on a simple two note idea that I had (you can hear it in this recording). I later tried to transcribe the composition, but did not complete it all.

Yoko Ono - Heartbeat [my interpretation] (2019)
I composed this piece as part of one of the stalls at the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival in 2019. I was a part of edges ensemble, a contemporary music group based in Huddersfield University, and we completed performances based on the Grapefruit, by Yoko Ono.
Piece for a Relaxing Day on the Beach (2019)
A contemporary music piece inviting you as listener to relax, close your eyes and let yourself be taken on a journey of piece and tranquility.

The Tree of Human Emotion
A piece that takes a journey through different expressions of human emotion through an instrument I built for the composition, a 'branchune'.
